Our board certified Pulmomologists/Intensivists/Sleep specialists serve Broward and northern Dade Counties. Hospital affiliations include Memorial Regional Hospital, Memorial Hospital Pembroke, Memorial Hospital West, and Kindred Hospital. Our physicians are involved in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the lung and respiratory tract such as asthma, lung cancer, mesothelioma, sleep apnea, COPD – emphysema & chronic bronchitis, pulmonary fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, tuberculosis, pulmonary embolism, pneumonia, and respiratory failure due to illnesses arising from the neuromuscular system.

Utilizing the latest in diagnostic techniques and procedures such as pulmonary function testing, diagnostic and interventional bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, arterial blood gas analysis, sleep testing/polysomnography, CT scans, and PET scans, our Florida pulmonary specialists determine the proper diagnosis and establish a course of treatment for pulmonary disease to restore the patient to optimal health as quickly as possible. They work closely with thoracic surgeons and oncologists to coordinate care, and are actively involved in the Memorial Lung Cancer Program. Treatment options typically include medication, pulmonary hygiene, nutrition, breathing retraining, exercise programs, stress management, counseling and support for terminal diseases, and multiple options for the cessation of cigarette smoking.
