Physical Therapy
Our four main offices each contain a well-equipped physical therapy center staffed by highly trained and certified physical therapists. When a patient is referred for physical therapy, the first visit will encompass a comprehensive evaluation by a licensed physical therapist. Following the evaluation, a care plan will be developed to address the patient’s specific needs and treatment goals will be established. Hands-on treatment will include the use of modalities and various forms of therapeutic exercise to enhance function and strengthen muscles. The patient may also be taught exercises to do at home to maintain their progress. Since our physical therapy centers are located within our neurology offices, there is the added advantage of the therapist and physician working in tandem with the patient to optimize treatment goals and monitor the progress of the patient’s condition. Many outside providers utilize our physical therapy centers because of our excellence in care and the reputation we’ve gained in overall patient satisfaction throughout the years.
